I have no idea how this site works, I am learning as I go along … much like the process of learning the in’s and out’s of the motorhome over the past 18 months. It sometimes takes a village to get things right, and that certain proved true with the name of the blog.  Yesterday, son Derrick and daughter Laura almost simultaneously came up with a better name for our blog.  Playing off our first initials, Derrick came up with BLT, as in the famous sandwich.  Laura immediately chimed in with “to go!”  And a new blog name was born.  Who can resist a good, fresh BLT to go?!

Speaking of works in progress, we are taking my 2012 Ford Focus Hatchback to Bolton RV this morning to be set up for flat towing.  No more wrestling with the 500 lb. tow dolly for us.  We need a quicker, simpler way of doing this if we’re going to be rolling in and out of campgrounds every few days.  Nothing like cutting it close, as we have 7 days left before launch!  It’s going to be a nail biter!!
