This is our last night at Riverside RV Resort in Arcadia, FL. It’s kind of bittersweet because we have enjoyed our week here and met some very nice people, Ralph and Diane from Ontario in particular. Not only are they friendly folk, but they also are dog lovers. I didn’t get the chance to watch Diane do any agility work with her dogs, but maybe next year! Tessa will miss her goody man, Ralph!
Before we leave this area, we wanted to visit Myakka River State Park, and we were very glad that we did. What a beautiful state park! Lots of trails, great bird watching, and a campground within. We’d like to camp here for a few days the next time we’re in the area. The gators are impressive, too!
Tomorrow we head to Wildwood, FL, which is near The Villages. We plan to visit Mert and Joanne, Viens family friends. We were hoping to see Uncle Larry and Anita, too, but they are arriving in Florida later than we thought.
Enjoy these pictures of Myakka River State Park!
No, we did not kayak with the gators, but these crazy people did!
